It is a honey produced in spring and summer, with a mild flavor and light floral aroma with pleasant aromatic-balsamic nuances, being gastronomically appreciated as a sweetener. Obtained from the different species of Tajinaste flowers existing on the island of Tenerife, the most frequent sites being the highlands of Arico and Arafo.
It is very light in color, white to light beige, usually crystallized and has a creamy consistency.
