Vintage Tintilla it is a wine of Viñatigo Wineries, a winery that is located on the outskirts of La Guancha, in the northwest of Tenerife, where it gathers eight vineyard plots at different heights and volcanic soils. The work philosophy is oriented towards sustainable agriculture and a production that seeks the expression of the native varieties of the island through a very respectful intervention in the winery.

100% Tintilla from Finca Laderas de Teno, 800 meters above sea level. Planted free standing without grafting.

Elaboration

Manual harvest from the end of October to the beginning of November. Fermentation with temperature control and autochthonous yeasts. Subsequent aging for 12 months in 225L and 300L French oak barrels of one, two, three and four years. They do not use clarifiers of animal origin and the addition of sulfites before bottling is minimal.

How much?

High aromatic intensity. The dark chocolate, black fruits and blond tobacco stand out. Structured and powerful, with a very good acidity that guarantees a long life.
